Lego's Star Wars set, Count Dooku's Solar Sailer, is another exclusive set that is only available at selected stores and Lego Shop At Home online. With 385 pieces and priced at $55 it is one of hte more expensive sets released when looking at price per piece ratio but looking past that quibble the set itself is quite a good design and comes with two separate vehicles and four rare minifigures.Count Dooku's Solar Sailer was a gift from Geonosis' leader Poggle the Lesser and enabled Dooku to escape from Geonosis after defeating Obi Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in lightsaber battle, as featured in Star wars Episode Two Attack Of The Clones. It is an inventive design that uses sails to harness a sun's solar rays and create energy to power the vehicle.Lego's representation of the Solar Sailer is a rather strange recreation of a rather unusual vehicle- there are no actual sails on the Lego version, a strange omission given the ship's name. The speeder included in the set is Lego's second version of Dooku's speeder, originally packaged in set 7103, Jedi Duel. The speeder can fit into the back of the Solar Sailer, even with a figure on board and the colors used are more screen-accurate.The bubble cockpit can open and the driver figure sits inside, the ship also has flick fire missiles and 4 moveable wings. The "sail" in question would normally sit out the front of the ship and while it would have been difficult to replicate could have been included given the sets high price. The ship measures 11 inches (27cm) long and up to 16 inches (40cm) wide with wings extended, while the minifigures include Count Dooku, FA-4 pilot droid, 2 MagnaGuard droids.Overall a rather unusual set that may only appeal to completists of the line.

Building Your Own Millennium Falcon
With 1,254 LEGO pieces, the Millennium Falcon took more than four hours for our testers to construct. Split between two adult builders, these hours provided a fun time to reminisce about favorite Star Wars moments.
A large percentage of the pieces come in shades of gray, and approaching construction requires a bit of organization and discipline. Detailed step-by-step instructions help ensure that construction is a relatively straightforward process, despite the complexity of the finished model.
As impressive as the finished model may be, our testers noted a few minor oversights worth mentioning. For starters, there are no mini-figures of C-3PO or R2D2 included, making the scene reconstruction feel incomplete. Also, only Han Solo and Chewbacca are capable of fitting in the cockpit. However, considering the amount of overall detail included in this model, any Star Wars fan would be delighted to proudly put it on display.

This is a massive and amazing set. I'm a huge fan of the original trilogy and lego so have been wanting to get a Millennium Falcon set for several years. Unfortunately I found most of them either far to expensive, or simply not worth the asking price. This one finally hit the sweet spot for me. For $139.99 (or cheaper if you buy it on Amazon or find it on sale) you get six minifigures and a 1200+ piece model that is nearly perfect.
The first thing that I truly love is that the set is pretty much in scale so that you can place all the figures in familiar settings inside the ship. The roof of the Falcon is made up of folding panels that can be opened to reveal most of the interior of the ship. They've included the table where they played virtual chess, Luke's training droid, as well as control panels and beds. The cockpit is a separate section but still fits a figure (I've got Han on pilot duty naturally), and they even managed to work in the dual seat gunners pod and... Read more

Played with this at a friend's house. He got it for his birthday and took him more than 5 hours to build, and he wouldn't let us take it apart to rebuild! It is impressive! The details on the outside is just like the movie. The fold out panels open the reveal the inside where the minifigs can act out the movie scenes. The size of the Falcon is just right to fly around, not too heavy or bulky, and is actually quite sturdy compared to other Lego sets.
Absolutely stunning set. This is the one set that I really want this year. My parents say it is okay priced and we can get it for Christmas! Now only 4 months to go!

I saw that Lego had some new Star Wars sets out and got really excited. I didn't have a gift for my husband's birthday that was two days away. Ordered it using Amazon Prime, and got it here the next day. I usually like to rack up points on my lego card, but couldn't wait. Plus I got it at a lower price.
So, the durability of this item when put together really surprised both my husband and myself. You can actually play with it and not worry about it falling apart, like some other sets. It's a great size and lots of neat areas for play. Definitely worth the price!
